Two Hot Chili Peppers

I started these two chili peppers a while ago, but was not quite happy with my choice of background. Originally, I thought to make it grey, but it looked too boring to me, so I changed it into green with some lighter green mottling. I really like the contrast! Painted on my favorite Ampersand gesso board! Acrylic on 5x7 inch archival board!

Chili Twist

My previous customer from the Netherlands inspired me to paint more red chili peppers. After all, red is one of my favorite colors! This dark grey was made of carbon black and titanium white. This black has a tad of a blue bias, love this!

As I promised, showing another avocado painting. This time, a little larger canvas. I added a little crack on the table surface to add some character. Thinking that one day I should share the process of how I create my paintings from start to finish in stages. Might be fun! Stay with me! :)

I thought I would also show my red bell pepper that I finished this weekend.
My daughter likes to eat it right off the stem!
