Rolling Out

Originally, I planned to place two tomatoes on the vine in the bowl, and take a picture. However, while I was placing them, the heaviest tomato weighed the bowl down and tried to escape :) And suddenly it was perfect for picture taking! I added a few water drops.... just because I love adding water drops so much! :)

The painting was made on a 5x7x1/8 inch Ampersand gessoed hard board using professional grade acrylic paint.

I've been recently in the mood to paint tomatoes. Their bright red skin really attracts me!
